I wanted to take the opportunity in the inaugural post to explain my goal for this site. I have set up travel blogs in the past but mainly to document my antics. My goal with this site is to create an index of travel experiences. A venue to post pictures, videos and general impressions of the sites, food, culture, and really anything that left an impression, good or bad. I would also like to hear about the antics but I'm primarily interested in creating a travel resource published by credible sources - our friends. I know a lot of us are on the move pretty often, and the rest of us wish we could be. So with that in mind I hope some of you are interested in talking about your past and present travel so that the rest of us can live vicariously through you. At least until we have the opportunity to make the plunge. My hopes is that this site will not only inspire the plunge, but that it will prove to be a valuable travel resource - a place to go in search of hotels, restaurants, and tourist activities that are off the beaten path and an insiders insight into the more popular sites we all want to see.
